Latest About Flood Relief Work
Dear Abdalians,
Like previous times Abdalians & Petarians are jointly engaged in relief and reconstruction work for the flood effectees. A meeting of BOT was held to identify the task. Further to the said meeting the President HOBA has selected the site for establishment of camp in Khyber Pakhtoon Khawa. The Petarians and Abdalians shall jointly perform as follows: -
1. Relief work/Camp in Dadu, Moro & Nosheroferoz areas in Sindh. (Action Taken)
2. A boat has been purchased to add into relief and rescue with Pak Army in disst Dadu.
3. Two villages Garhi Momin and Camp Karona near Noshera have been completely wiped out. They are located 10 km from Peshawar Toll Plaza on Motorway beside service Road. These villages have been selected for reconstruction of houses. Each house shall contain
a. 350 sq ft area.
b. 1 living room 14 X 16
c. Veranda and court yard with kitchen and toilet.
4. The reconstruction teams are waiting for the water to recede to move on the location.

Flood Relief
Dear Abdalians,
The present disaster through floods has shaken the whole country and the government alone cannot meet with the requirements of relief and rehabilitation. , like previous times the Association is moving in to help the country men in the immediate provisions of food and shelter followed by relief and rehabilitation. The President HOBA appeals from all its shining stars to come forward for immediate rescue to their country men. The Association shall provide dry rations, new clothing, and beddings and immediate and temporary shelter i.e. tentage. The donations in cash can be sent in the name of Hasanabdal Old Boys Association Flood Relief Fund and for the provision of donation in kind please contact President HOBA, Secretary General HOBA and Secretary Finance. Proposal for provision of minimum shelter to one family shall be transmitted soon.
Appeal From Qaisar Manzoor
Dear Fellow Abdalians
I had the honor and privilege to attend a meeting held by the office bearers of Hasanabdal Old Boys Association (HOBA) . One of the subject matters for the meeting was the establishment of a relief camp located in a very remote area that is hard to reach.
The meeting was attended by President HOBA Syed Ishfaq Hussain (13th entry), V.P HOBA Engineer Mr Sikandir Khattack (11th entry), Secretary Finance Capt Retd Nayyar Islam, (15th entry), Member Executive Body Mr Amjad Saeed Yazdani , Secretary General HOBA Dr Faisal Manzoor and myself as a guest Qaisar Manzoor.
I must say with pride that close to RS 1.2 million were collected for this project between the six participants at the spot. At the moment we need a minimum of 2.5 million and this project wouldn’t be completely successful unless there is a full participation by most Abdalians. The intention is to run the camp for the whole month of Ramazan. My fellow Abdalian in the great spirit of who we are please count your blessings and help the needy and most deserved. I would like to post the account # where you can transfer your donations and 100% of your donations would go to the victims of the floods.
